Taking a cue from Hollywood, people are becoming more attuned to the importance of giving back to the community. Not long ago, I got to know the people behind a local charity, Dare to Share, a nonprofit organization based in Braselton. It has grown so close to my heart that I now feel as if I'm forever an advocate of its noble cause, raising money to help children in need.
