"We can say with some assurance that although children may be victims of fate, they will not be the victims of our neglect"

"Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future!"

Since our inception in 2002, Dare To Share has banded with many well known charities in our quest to help children in need. During our 5 year affiliation with The Smile Train, Dare To Share has organized multiple fundraisers, raising more than $300,000 to help change the lives of over 1,100 children suffering from severely disfigured and dysfunctional faces due to cleft lip and palate. In 2009, we were honored to sit at The Smile Train's Oscar Awards table, when their short film, "Smile Pinky" took home the Oscar for Best Short Documentary.
Autism is a disease that has screamed into the forefront of childhood ailments, disrupting millions of family's lives every year. Shocking, recent research indicates that at least 1 in 150 children is affected with Autism. Dare To Share continues our committed support to search for solutions through our consistent donations to the Autism Society of America.
In 1962, children with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (the most common type of Cancer), suffered survival rates of only 4%. Today, children in the St. Jude's Children's Hospital study enjoy a five year survival rate of 94%, with a projected 10-year cure rate of 90%! Dare To Share has made a significant donation to further the research.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America provide a positive outlet for more than 4 million children and teenagers nationwide, including Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands and our military bases around the world. In 2008, Dare To Share provided funds to keep the local Boys & Girls Club chapter of Winder, Georgia open and in operation. We are proud to say that more than 150 children were able to remain in the program and off the streets due to our efforts and contributions. Dare To Share also secured a scholastic grant, enabling them to employ an afterschool teacher to tutor the children. Needless to say, the results were amazing.
Dare To Share recognizes smaller personal charities as well, recently helping to raise the initial capital required to open The Highland House, a new shelter in Winder, Georgia which provides a home for displaced children.
